The Edgecombe Veterans Museum located in Tarboro NC, honors all military veterans (past, present and future) of Edgecombe County.
All alumni of Edgecombe County Schools (Phillips, Bricks, Carver, Pattillo, Conetoe, and Booker T. Washington) who are military veterans from Edgecombe County are encouraged to submit their military photos for display in the museum, purchase a commemorative engraved brick to be placed on the museum walkway and to become a friend of the museum. There were many military veterans who attended and graduated from our former black high schools. This would be another way to remember them and their service to the community. This link to the museum has more information.
